Personal and Professional Development
Non-accredited learning programs are designed to develop the skills and knowledge of the community for personal or work purposes. RCC can cater to and tailor learning and development programs for any industry or individual group needs. RCC welcomes ideas for expanding our non-accredited programs, and if you or your group have identified a need, we will Endeavor to provide a solution. Likewise, if you are passionate about something, we would love to hear from you with a view to identifying others in the community who may benefit from your knowledge.
Student Support
RCC is committed to ensuring the success of every student in their learning journey. We provide literacy, language, and numeracy support to those who need it. Individualised learning plans enable learners to succeed in their chosen field, and with the inclusion of a dedicated learning support officer, RCC empowers students to strive for success.
Refer to your trainer or training coordinator on the best way to be supported through your learning journey.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
RPL is a process that assesses knowledge, skills, and competencies a student has acquired through formal or informal learning experiences, work, or life experiences. If a student believes they possess relevant skills and knowledge to the desired qualification, they can apply for RPL.
Students should refer to the RPL Policy and Procedure.
Credit Transfers
RCC values and recognises the qualifications and statements of attainment issued by other RTOs and RCC. The RCC Credit Transfer Policy recognises and applies credit for units of competency previously completed by a student. A student may be able to complete their course earlier if they are able to have approved the transfer of credits to that course.
