In this training, you will learn the skills and knowledge to provide a first aid response in a range of situations. This qualification is valid for three years.
Entry Requirement
Prior to attending the practical session, students will be provided with access to our online system to complete the theory assessment.
This involves 80 multiple choice questions. Students MUST receive a satisfactory outcome prior to scheduled practical session.
3 attempts for the theory assessment will be given to all students. Students will be required to demonstrate your knowledge during the practical assessment.
To successfully complete the practical assessment you must be capable of demonstrating your first aid skills in several scenarios including performing at least 2 minutes (5 cycles) of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an adult and infant resuscitation mannequin placed on the floor.
